This is so creepy! Anyone else have a bunch of dead bees around the house?

I live in Los Angeles and over the last three days we have seen about 50 dead bees in the driveway and yard. They seem to be dying at once. Anyone else experiencing this? This is so creepy! Anyone else have a bunch of dead bees around the house?
It's called the apocalypse.

Or winter. This is so creepy! Anyone else have a bunch of dead bees around the house?
Its true bees are dying and scientist are trying to find out why because millions have already dyed off and if they die then we die!

They may have Colony Collapse Disorder. You can read about it here...

There is actually a bee crisis happening in the world. Look it up. It's actually a little intersting, but lots of bees are dying worldwide. Potentially very bad for humans.
No.
my guess is winter caused this
Yes. There has been a great bee die off - see article below. This is cause for concern.

I had a simalar experience to this my next door neighbour had poisened a hive and i found most of the dead bees on my side of the driveway
I know its weird right? This happend to my house, but all the bee's were dead INSIDE my basement!! It was nasty! So we called an exterminator, and he got rid of all of them.
Isn't California getting a really bad cold snap from that storm. I think that might be causing them to die they are fragile when things change quickly. Insects are very fickle.
It means the bees are finally becoming extinct in this world. They are moving on to a better place
As the weather turns cold and the normal flowers die off, the bees have less food to eat. At some point they start to live off the honey that is in the hive. In order to keep the honey from being used up the worker bees will raise another queen. When the other queen (or several queens) are hatched a portion of the worker bees leave with her. This reduces the consumption of stored honey at the main hive.

But, unless the new queen is very lucky in finding a new colony site quickly with a nearby food source her new workers will die off from lack of food, and so will she. I would guess that a new colony tried to move into your area and is suffering due to not enough food.
Be cautious around your home, you may have a hive nearby. This could present a danger to you and your family. There are several businesses which will come and remove the hive for a modest fee. Good luck!
I would contact someone. There are scientists who are tracking this alarming development.

The honey bees really are dying at a frightening rate. The bee-keepers release them into an area to help with the crops, but then something happens and they die before they return to the hive. It is really scary!
no but i came back from a 2 wekvacaton and when i walked inside there were like 75 dead flys and my house didnt smell or anything and there was absolutlty no way of them gettingin and they werent ther o begine with

it was soooo weird!
It's just winter. Once it gets to a certain temperature, even if just for a little bit, then they die.
There is some disease killing off bees...which is potentially very bad for the world. Or it could just be because of the horrific state of air in Los Angeles. (Seriously, I live in the midwest and when i read about what the air over there is like i'm disgusted)
hello! I've never seen that anywhere. But has there been anyone spraying pesticide arounds where you live? Plus you are probably in your winter(Summer here) and the hive has been disturbed, the queen flown, and the bees are dying.
Maybe report it to the news or something. Sounds like something unhealthy going on in the area.
