I have a yellow jacket nest in my compost pile, how do I kill the bees in it?

The nest is deep in the pile, and there are a lot of bees.I have a yellow jacket nest in my compost pile, how do I kill the bees in it?
Either call a professional to remove it or just wait until the winter so you won't get stung. Then you can break up the nest and let it compost.

Using bug spray in a compost bin kind of defeats the purpose of making compost.I have a yellow jacket nest in my compost pile, how do I kill the bees in it?
Inform the yellow jackets that a family of 'bees' have taken over their nest. Simple ....
They sell a spray, that you can use from a distance, kills them dead.
