Whats the difference between hornets, bees, wasps, and yellow jackets?

I am curious as to what the difference is cause I have never known what the difference is.Whats the difference between hornets, bees, wasps, and yellow jackets?
Hornets and yellow jackets are in the same category...yellow jackets are a type of hornet. They are simply stinging insects kind of like a bee...only they can sting as many times as they want. Bees are fuzzy, and most can only sting one time, except for bumble bees, those little bastards can sting alot. Wasps are flying ants that have stingers.Whats the difference between hornets, bees, wasps, and yellow jackets?
Bees make honey, and go to sleep from smoke. and i think yellow jackets are wasps.
it's like the difference between monkeys, apes, orangutans, and gorillas
I'm not sure but i know that if you disturb a hornet it will pick up your scent and follow you for AGES.

And if you disturb a hornets NEST the WHOLE colony will pick up your scent and once again follow you for AGES.

Bees sting once and make honey.

And

Wasps continually sting.

Don't really know anything about yellow jackets.
When a bee stings you, it leaves its stinger in you. The other buggers can sting you multiple times, without losing their stinger, and have a much higher level of aggression.
