What is the biggest problem keeping bees alive? Are their enough foraging plants for them?

What about the tranckia might ,are they still a threat to the survival of the bee colonies? What is the biggest problem keeping bees alive? Are their enough foraging plants for them?
Disease and mites are a major problem because once the hive is infested or infected it can easily spread to the entire colony.

There are usually enough plants for them but they do dehydrate easily especially in the heat of the summer when there is little rain.
