Why bees make the honeycombs in hanging position instead of a seated position?

Why the honeycombs are made in a hanging position, where they are less supported? Why they are not made in a seated position, where they can have some support? Why bees make the honeycombs in hanging position instead of a seated position?
Actually hanging is stronger because the honeycomb shape absorbs the weight of the hive and distributes it throughout. The honey is heavy so the honeycomb must support a lot of weight.

If the honeycomb were simply turned on it's side, it would not be as strong and would likely buckle in the middle under the weight. The honeycomb shape loses a lot of strength when turned sideways. Why bees make the honeycombs in hanging position instead of a seated position?
Bees make honeycombs that way because they are B minded.
Simply because bees fly.
easier access, bee architecture isn't my major though so i'm not an expert
